Field Trips

We can't believe November is already here!! It's getting colder here. It dropped really quickly. Last week we were in the mood to go Christmas shopping for our families - just small goodies that are kind of random and Korean, but it was fun. The cold weather has put us in the holiday mood. We've been drinking lots of hot chocolate already :)

This week we went on a field trip with our kindergarden to a horse racing place where they went on a pony ride and rode around on bicycles. This is my partner teacher Sue was bumming a ride from little Ryan.

Here is Jon being a goof with some of his kids. The kids lap he is sitting on is actually a boy- his huge hair cracks me up. I thought he was a girl for weeks.

This past Friday evening Jon took me out but didn't tell me where we were going. He was being sneaky.

Here is me clueless.

We went and got food from a sandwich place and got some other snacks before Jon put us in a cab and sent the cab driver to the beach near us. We went up a small mountain and out onto a deck and ate our dinner in the moonlight - so much fun!!!

Just chillin. It's nice to have a self timer on the camera or we'd have no pictures together.

This was our view of the beach and the neighborhood behind us from the mountain peer deck thing.

Here I am with some of our teachers during a teacher field trip last week. The one to the left of me is our boss Vicky.

On our trip we ate a traditional Korean meal of duck cooked in pumpkin and sitting on the floor.

The duck in pumpkin. It was good, but interesting.

Jon ate 4 bowls of kimchi by himself. He loves this stuff! He talked about it for days.

When we were out by this sunset place on the coast and Jon played this game for about $1.

Jon didn't win. Jonny did. :) Yay for sugar fish.

The little black speck on the top of the rock is Jon. Isn't it lovely?

We also climbed up on this cool rock. It was such a beautiful day.

It was just another day of adventure. Gotta love it.
