Spring is coming

It's finally beginning to feel a little bit like spring here. Jon has started running outside, in preparation for a half marathon in May. We can't wait for that month, it's gonna be a good one with his race and with the Bihls coming! It is also supposed to be beautiful weather for hiking, which is another one of Jon's favorite things to do here.

We heard there are some beautiful things to see with Cherry Blossom season, but we haven't been out walking in it yet. Hopefully soon! We need to post some pictures. We have been so busy during the week with school and our weekends this month are pretty much full with the worship conference and making our long journey to church and back on Sundays. Sorry for no photos lately :)

Funny story of today: I asked a class to write about what kind of pet they would want and one boy, Hank, wrote that he wanted a frog. They were supposed name their pet and say why they wanted this animal. Hank named his frog Hankika and said he wanted a frog so he could ride it. Ha.
