the first few days

An overview of the first few days with the Bihls:

Mr. Ha took us to the airport to pick them up and when they had 4 suitcases and not the two we expected, we didn't have quite the room we had planned on in the car. All four of us rode in the back and the suitcases rode in the front.

Jeannie came to the apartment to make some phone calls and then Jon took her back to the hotel on his scooter.

Our first Korean meal, BBQ. Steve learning the chopsticks.

Mr. Ha's daughter HaYayJin drew a picture of Jeannie. It's so cute! They called her and Steve grandma and grandpa.

Jagalchi fish market. Jeannie didn't think it looked too appetizing.

Steve showing us how you use a squattie potty. Not our favorite!

Locking their love away on top of the Lotte department store next to mine & Jons and mom & dads.

Dad and mom's lock after 3 months... a little rusty, but hanging tough haha.

Eating italian at the Pan. The gorgonzala is to die for. It's the same table we were seated at with my parents.

Church friends. Lunch was a lot of fun.

Then we went to see some lovely views with them.

Shinsegae digital play area. Taking their picture and seeing it on the wall.

The streets of Seomyeon - a busy and bright place.

We got them into the first season of 24!!! They're hooked.

Golfing. They're pros.

  1. So excited that Jon's parents are there with you and you are all having fun seeing the sights and experiencing the Korean culture. I'm sure that you are loving every minute of your time together. How cool that Jon gets to spend Mother's Day with his mom! Love seeing the pictures, thanks for sharing. Cherish this time.
