Thursday afternoon the "fun" began. I'm still unsure why Halloween is such a huge deal at our school, but apparently we are famous in the area for our party. So the activities started Thursday afternoon with pumpkin carving. These are my 3&4 year olds digging the seeds out of our pumpkin.

Jon helping his kids get the junk out of theirs.

That night after work we started the decorating at about 6:30pm and finished a little after midnight. It was a long evening and much of it involved Jon, Jonny, Jeffery and I walking around waiting for someone to tell us what to do. Sometimes I think they forget we don't understand what they are saying in Korean when they are all discussing what needs to be done.

Working hard at making the "Scary Room" as scary as possible.

So Friday comes and we had the day off school and didn't have to go in until 2pm, which was nice. So we all got our costumes on and before classes began we celebrated with some cake - korean style which means that the cake is just in the middle and everyone grabs their chopsticks and just digs in. :)

And here is part of our school - right when you walk in the front entrance.

We aren't really into Halloween, but when it's your job I guess you do your best. Here we're making our best scary faces. During the first wave of kids our boss said they weren't scared enough, so when the second group came she told us to hide more and really scare them. Not enough were crying....craziness.

Our staff. I can literally say my boss is a witch....but she isn't really. We like her a lot.

Me and my partner teacher Sue with one of our 3 year olds Aileen. She looked so beautiful in her little fairy outfit.

Jonny is one of the other foreigner teachers. Great guy - fun to work with. So here we are, the Gorilla, the devil and the scary skeleton ghost thing. So glad when it was all over!!!!

Jon with one of his favorite students and his brother. So cute. That is their mother in the background.

We are really glad all the Halloween madness is over now. Back to normal life!
That is sort of crazy how much you do for Halloween!
