Well it's the Christmas season, and we are not about to go our third married Christmas together without a tree!!! Hence, we have lovingly decorated this little 12inch tree! It isn't much, but it does add some cheer. We even have a Christmas card from my friend Peg hanging on our refrigerator :) We have the Christmas tunes playing, a little Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and yes yes a little Mariah Carey and even some N'sync...I can admit it. They have the best version of "Oh Holy Night" - if you haven't heard it, you should!

This is a nearby neighborhood where we go for fun sometimes - they have good shopping and movies and now Christmas decorations. I even heard from a friend that they have a nativity with stuffed sheep and all! We have to go see that.

In other random news, we were walking along and saw a vending machine that offered something I've never seen before - a random drink. Our friend couldn't pass it up and bought one. It was strawberry juice or something like that. I wonder if Koreans even know what the strange question mark can says... why is it in English and why is it even there anyway? Well I guess it made us buy a drink when we wouldn't have otherwise. Here's to Korea - the country of random!

Had to update this morning... we got our package from Pops and Mama Bennett for Christmas.... Yay for presents under our tree and more Christmas decorations!

It's a wolverine Christmas. My mom knows me!!! Thanks mom!

So glad you got the package and that was fast!Save those gifts till Christmas! I thought you needed a tree, then you said you had one so I almost didn't send the Michigan tree but I decided you should still have it because you are a true blue fan!
ReplyDeleteYour trees are so cute. Glad that you get to enjoy some Christmas cheer. You are doing better than I am. I have my nativity out & my Victorian Christmas village, but no tree yet. I have to do it this week, because we are leaving the 21st to go to Louisiana for Christmas. I will have to check & see if N'sync's version of O Holy Night is on youtube. Love you & Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe trees are nice and everything yada yada yada... but what I'm excited about is that little mitten! Look at your face in that picture... now that's pure joy!
