looking back can push you forward

Last night I spent about 5 hours reading through my blog that I had in college. Oh my gosh was it a fun time for me. I laughed and nearly cried. I remembered things that I haven't thought about in years. I was amazed by both my own funny comments and also by my vulnerability as I was learning more about who I was and what/where God was leading me. One of the things that I read about was how often I listened to a band called Shane&Shane. If you don't know them, you should look them up... their worship music got me through lots of days back then. Today we've been listening to their cd's again, and gosh it has been refreshing! Thank you Jesus for this reminder... their worship ushers in his presence and leads my heart into worship. Just what I needed today.
