Jon and I decided to go stay in a hotel on Christmas eve just to get away from our apartment and relax a little bit. We went to a very nice hotel on the beach about an hour from our house. The view from our hotel room - awesome isn't it!

Jon stood up on the ledge and danced to see how many people he could get to look at him, and then he would wave at them. They took his picture even :) What a goober.

We came back home after a Christmas lunch at Outback Steak house and had some of our favorite American snacks. You can't go wrong with apple pie, cheese, oreo's, ham and pickle rolls, pringles and cherry coke! I'd like to take this moment to thank Costco, who made this all possible :)

On Christmas night we were able to skype with family on their Christmas morning. Mama Bennett is practicing with her new beginner chopsticks in this one. We also were able to skype with Jon's extended family when they had their annual get together. Noon their time was 2am for us... we must really love them! :)

We hope you all had a great holiday! We enjoyed ours and though we missed family it was still a special time for us and we are thankful for all the Lord is doing in us here.
