This is a video of little Owen with a bag on his head. They bring cups to school in a plastic bag to use for drinking water and juice at lunch and snack time and in class. Everyday at the beginning of class I give them a drink of water. Owen always comes with his cup in his hand and his bag on his head. It never fails and I adore it.
In one of my kindergarten classes we were practicing this song for our big concert coming up. The song is called "Upside Down." This song is actually the Encore performance, so the teachers have taught them that all the parents will be yelling "Encore, Encore," so that is what they are doing in the beginning. The kids are supposed to know this dance and be able to say the words. They aren't very together on the moves and you can't make out too many of their words correctly, but darn it if it isn't one of the best parts of my day. They put their whole hearts into it, and mind you they are all a young 4, minus one who is 3 still.
I tried to get Owen to say hello but he got shy and gave me a "talk to the hand" instead and Wendy steps up to the plate. She loves attention. If you notice she seems a little bummed when I say, "Goodbye." :) Also take note, she says she is 5 because that is her Korean Age, but she just turned three a few months ago!
I went to the indoor playground during lunch the other day with the little camera and when the kids saw me they came out of the wood work to say hello. I really love these kids!
Nicole, they are so adorable, squeezable, cheek pinchable, hilarious & funny. I think my cheeks would hurt from smiling all day if I was there. The dance & song number is the cutest thing ever! You have to do more of these mini movies. Love it!
